Top NBA DFS picks for Saturday, December 2
For Saturday, one of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen, who is listed at $6,500 on DraftKings and $6,600 on FanDuel. The 25-year-old posted his third double-double of the season on Thursday, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 38 minutes against Portland. All three of his double-doubles have come in the last six games as he continues to round back into form following an ankle injury.

Allen is averaging 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 blocks while shooting a red-hot 71.2% from the floor during that six-game stretch. He is also making the most of his trips to the charity stripe, knocking down 88.9% of his attempts. Allen has a favorable matchup on Saturday night against a Detroit team that is sitting at the bottom of the NBA standings with a 2-17 record.

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Jazz point guard Keyonte George ($6,200 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel). The rookie struggled early in the season as he adjusted to NBA competition, but he has started to put together quality performances on a nightly basis. He scored a team-high 19 points in a win over New Orleans on Monday, adding five rebounds, three assists and two steals to increase his DFS value.

George added another double-digit showing against Minnesota on Thursday, scoring 12 points, grabbing four rebounds and dishing out four assists. He has reached double figures in four of his last five games while filling up the stat sheet in other categories as well. His success should continue on Saturday, as Portland has one of the worst records in the Western Conference at 6-12. See McClure’s other NBA DFS picks right here.
